When I was looking at the boat the fist time, I found three 5 day old kittens in this compartment

Sorry, one more polish spot. Here you can see just how bad the red was, and a little further down, you can see what it should look like. I have to say, the black sparkle just pops!
Right in front of this spot is where the rot looks like it stops. Now the wood is old, and will get a layer of glass over it if I decide it is strong enough.

Ok Ok... here are some more pics of the shine. I took these with my phone and they came out better
